Historically speaking, the genealogy of Jesus is an old text. However, this biblical passage remains very meaningful for us. As Warren Carter says, ¿The genealogy has, then, a theological agenda, a sociological and pastoral function, and a narrative contribution¿. First of all, this passage is meaningful to me as a Christian writer. Second, it is meaningful to priests, religious, and seminarians. Lastly, it is meaningful to everyone.I invite you to read the book in its entirety in order to grasp its meaning and implication in our postmodern society.

Didier MBOMBO Mokemba is born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. After his brilliant Philosophical years in one of the best Jesuist Schools in Kinshasa, Didier migrated to the Philippines to pursue his Theological Studies in a CICM School in Manila. He is presently leaving in the Republic of the Philippines.
