The texts by Christian Lehner add interesting facts from the past and present, ranging from the districts' biggest employers to important personages, rewarding day trip destinations and culinary highlights. The result is an unusually informative photo book that conveys a real sense of lifestyles and attitudes in Austria's southern regions.

Christian Lehner, geboren 1963, aufgewachsen in Vorchdorf, Studium der Theaterwissenschaften und Deutschen Philologie in Wien, lebt in Klagenfurt. Journalist mit Schwerpunkt Kultur, Redakteur der "WOCHE Kärnten", Autor und Musiker (Dialekt-Pop-Projekt "CHL").
